Happy Volidays! 'Vol Santa,' Sinan the Squirrel visit University of Tennessee

Santa Vol, cousin of Claus, has been watching! He and a fluffy guest made an appearance at the Student Union VolShop -- just before UT took on Vandy.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn — Vol Nation, have you been naughty or nice this year?

Santa Vol, cousin of Claus, came to K-town Saturday. He set up shop in UT's Student Union VolShop, visiting with Tennessee fans and Christmas lovers alike.

"I was working in the shop with the elves one day and Tennessee was playing football, and I really enjoyed it so I asked if I could go to a game," the jolly fellow said. "That was about four years ago. I've been at every home game since."

He had an unexpected visitor, too: Sinan the squirrel, Tennessee's smallest -- and furriest -- fan.

Sinan is a rescue squirrel who's partial to UT colors -- and, apparently, holiday cheer. Here he is in his tiny, custom-fitted Tennessee jersey:
