KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee football coach Jeremy Pruitt comes off as a pretty tough guy, but that didn't stop him from getting sweetly sentimental in announcing the birth of his baby girl.
Pruitt tweeted a photo on Friday of his three sons with newborn daughter Shelby.
"One month ago God completed our family with a beautiful little girl! Having three boys toughens you up, but Shelby melts my heart!" he wrote, adding the hashtag #girldad.
Shelby has three obviously proud big brothers, Jayse, Ridge and Flynt.
Most of us found out Pruitt's wife, Casey, was pregnant when he was spotted making a late-night run to Gus's Good Times Deli after the South Carolina game in October. He said his wife Casey was hungry and asked him to bring some food home.
She was six-months pregnant at the time, so Pruitt knew he better not let her down!
