Four-star athlete Quavaris Crouch signs with Tennessee

The Vols end the Early Signing Period with a bang. A top 50 athlete is now part of the Class of 2019.

On the final day of the Early Signing Period, four-star athlete Quavaris Crouch signs with the Tennessee Vols.

247Sports ranks Crouch as a top 50 player, the No. 2 overall athlete in the country. Crouch played both running back and linebacker in college. Crouch went to high school at Harding University in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Crouch initially planned to announce his signing in early January, but his decision came instead late on Friday. Crouch had offers from programs like Clemson, Florida State and Michigan.

Tight ends coach Brian Niedermeyer is credited as the primary recruiter for Crouch.

Tennessee now has 19 players signed for the 2019 Class. Crouch is the second-highest rated player in the group according to 247Sports, behind only five-star offensive lineman Wanya Morris.
