Four-star senior safety Trey Dean of Dutchtown High School in Hampton, Ga., announced Thursday morning on his Twitter account that he has decommitted from Tennessee.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Dean had been committed to the Vols for more than four months. He made his decision known just hours after reports surfaced indicating that Alabama defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt was set to be formally announced as Tennessee's new head coach.
