KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Police Department has released a comprehensive list of all the roads that will be closed due to the 2019 Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon.
In a Facebook post, KPD says in order to accommodate the course and runners, the following locations are No Parking Areas and Towing will be enforced. This begins Saturday afternoon and continues throughout the weekend.
Signs will be in place however drivers should review this list in the event signage is not available.

West side of South Central St from Jackson Avenue to Summit Hill Drive
East side of South Central St from Summit Hill Drive to Cumberland Avenue
North side of Cumberland Avenue from State St to Central St
Jackson Avenue from Morgan St to Central St Wall Ave from Gay St to Walnut St
Union Ave from Locust St to Gay St
East side of Gay St from Hill Ave to Wall Ave
East side of Gay St from Summit Hill Drive to Depot Ave
West side of Locust St from Union Ave to Clinch Ave
World’s Fair Park Drive from Clinch Ave to Eleventh St

The 2019 Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 7:30 am in Downtown Knoxville on the Clinch Ave Bridge, just outside the Knoxville Convention Center.
The 2019 Covenant Kids Run will be held on Saturday, March 30, at 5:30 pm.
The 2019 Covenant Health 5K will be held on Saturday, March 30, at 7:00 pm.
