Tennessee softball is officially in the NCAA Tournament for the 15th straight year and will host an NCAA Regional for the 14th time in a row.
The Lady Vols (45-12, 14-10 SEC) are the no. 10 overall seed and will host a double-elimination regional tournament featuring James Madison, Ohio and Monmouth. The winner of the Knoxville Regional will advance to the Super Regionals to face the winner of the Athens Regional (no. 7 seed Georgia, Harvard, California or Northwestern).
Tennessee's first game will be against Monmouth on Friday at 5:30 p.m. (following the 3 p.m. game between James Madison and Ohio). The winners of Friday's games will play each other Saturday at noon, while the losers will play at 2:30 p.m.
All 13 SEC teams made the tournament with nine of them hosting a regional.
