STRAWBERRY PLAINS, Tenn. — The Carter Hornets are on their fourth head coach in four years. Scott Meadows takes over the program, after stepping away from football for two years due to health reasons.
"To be honest with you, whenever I first got here it was very tough," Meadows said.
Now, the players say that coach Meadows has earned they trust. They've also earned the Meadows' trust. Those things together equates to high expectations for this season and beyond.
Carter starts the season on Aug. 23 at Rhea County.
