UT men's basketball marks second sellout at Thompson-Boling this season

The game, which is airing on the SEC Network at 9 p.m. ET, marks Tennessee's second sellout in eight games this season at Thompson-Boling Arena.

Thompson-Boling Arena will be packed full for Tennessee's men's basketball game against SEC rival and 17th-ranked Kentucky on Saturday.

The men's basketball team currently ranks 11th in the country with an average home attendance of 14,944.

Vol Pass holders can select their seats for Saturday night's game 48 hours prior to tipoff. UT said that all residence halls on campus will open Saturday at 3 p.m. so UT students can make plans to arrive back in Knoxville in time to cheer on the Volunteers.

The team hopes to record its third consecutive home win over the rival Wildcats.

According to UT, student ticket requests for the game have already exceeded 3,400.

Free parking is provided on the Ag Campus off Neyland Drive for all men's basketball games.

A free shuttle service runs from the Ag Campus to Thompson-Boling Arena two hours prior to tipoff and runs one hour postgame.

The Vols have defeated the Wildcats in Knoxville in each of the last two seasons, with UK ranked 20th in 2016 and fourth last year.
