We are in the kitchen with Chef Gary from Naples making a deconstructed walnut cannoli.
Ingredients:
- 6-8 cannoli shells
- 3 cups ricotta cheese
- 1.5 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons allspice
- 3 tablespoons Blackberry liquor
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 pint fresh blackberries
Steps:
In a large bowl combine ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, allspice, blackberry liquor and walnuts then mix with a large spoon until all ingredients combined then add blackberries and fold in. If using traditional cannoli shells fill each with filling and garnish with blackberries and powdered sugar. Enjoy!
