The Knoxville Police Department said that a portion of I-640 West near Dutch Valley Road was closed after a tractor-trailer crash Saturday afternoon.
They said the crash did not involve any other cars and did not report any injuries in the crash. However, the tractor-trailer initially blocked two lanes while and the highway was closed as fans left Neyland Stadium for the Vols game.
Crews conducted cleanup work after the crash, and police said that I-640 West was closed around 2:35 p.m. so crews could finish their work. They said drivers should seek alternate routes.
