KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knoxville Utilities Board said drivers could expect temporary lane closures at the intersection of Kingston Pike and Neyland Drive. According to KUB, crews were working on repairs to a 12-inch water main, which required lane closures as excavation is required to make those repairs.
By 3 p.m. on Wednesday, they said the repairs were complete and the lanes were back open. The closures remained in place throughout the day on Tuesday and overnight, into Wednesday afternoon.
KUB said the eastbound right lane and the right turn lane onto Neyland Drive were closed. Meanwhile, the southbound lane of Neyland Drive and the left northbound turn lane was also closed.
