Several roads reopen after downed trees and power lines caused closures

National Park officials said Newfound Gap Road, Little River Road, Cherokee Orchard Road along with several others have reopened after Saturday's storms.

UPDATE (1/12): 

Park officials said Newfound Gap Road, Little River Road from the Sugarlands Visitor's Center to the Townsend Wye and Cherokee Orchard Road are open to all vehicles.

Gatlinburg Police Department said all of Gatlinburg's have reopened with the exception of a small portion of Old Cartertown Road. 

ORIGINAL STORY (1/11): Gatlinburg Police Department said Dudley Creek Bypass, Ridge Road and Baskins Creek Bypass are also closed due to downed trees and power lines. 

The Great Smoky Mountains National park said several roads including Little River Road from Sugarland Visitor Center to Townsend Wye, as well as part of Cherokee Orchard Road are temporarily closed Saturday due to fallen trees and high winds in the area.
