Today: Increasing clouds and mainly dry during the day with chilly highs in the middle 40s. Rain chances will increase by late afternoon into the evening with soaking rains likely Tuesday night. Lows will be in the lower 40s Tuesday night.

A persistent pattern will transport an abundant amount of moisture across the region and a series of systems will bring us the potential for heavy rain.

**A High Wind Warning will be in effect from late tonight into Wednesday afternoon as strong south-southeasterly winds will be possible in the higher elevations of the Smokies.**

Wednesday: The potential for heavy rain returns late in the day and flooding may become a concern once again after a break during the day. *If you live in a flood-prone area or near rivers, creeks and streams, you should be prepared to monitor water levels as they could rise quickly. Check back for updates!* Highs will be in the upper 50s. Lows will be in the upper 40s Wednesday night with rain chances continuing into Thursday morning.

Thursday: Scattered showers early... and flooding will still be a concern the first part of the day. Highs will be mild in the lower 60s. Lows will be in the middle 40s Thursday night.

Friday: More showers are expected off and on with highs will be in the upper 50s with lows in the upper 40s and lower 50s Friday night.

This Weekend: A very mild weekend with scattered showers off and on, so we will still have the potential for flooding at times. Highs in the middle to upper 60s. Lows will be in the middle 40s Saturday night.

Next week: Drier weather returns early in the week with highs in the 50s Monday and Tuesday. Rain chances return toward mid-week.
