KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tonight: Showers will gradually taper off from west to east but a chance for snow will remain in the Mountains overnight, mainly above 4000 feet. 1-2" of accumulation is possible over the higher terrain. Any campers, backpackers or mountain goers need to be aware of this. Temperatures will fall into the middle 30s with northwest winds at 5-15 mph, gusting to 20 mph at times.

Friday: Partly sunny and breezy with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Winds will be out of the southwest at 5-15 mph, gusting to 25 mph. Lows in the upper 20s and lower 30s Friday night.

Saturday: Mostly sunny and pleasant. Highs will be in the lower 60s with light winds. Lows in the lower to middle 30s Saturday night.

Sunday: Partly sunny with highs in the middle to upper 60s. Lows will be in the middle to upper 40s Sunday night.

Monday: Scattered showers and a few storms with highs in the middle 60s. Lows will be in the lower to middle 40s Monday night.

Tuesday: Lingering showers. Highs will be in the lower to middle 50s. Lows will be in the middle 30s Tuesday night.

Wednesday: Partly sunny with highs in the middle to upper 50s. Lows will be in the middle 30s Wednesday night.

Thursday: Mix of clouds and sun with highs in the lower 60s.
