KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. — 11:00 A.M. Sunday:
After strong overnight storms swept across East Tennessee, KUB crews have been working around-the-clock to restore power.
KUB's outage map is reporting 10,306 of 214,274 currently without power.
According to a Facebook post the company says the damage in our area was quite extensive. "We will work through the day to get everyone back on. If you don’t have power, use this opportunity to get outside and enjoy the weather while maintaining social distancing."
The Knoxville Utilities Board also advised people to not approach downed lines if they see them.
