Starbucks' latest creation is here: the Crystal Ball Frappuccino

The peach and cream based beverage is the latest limited edition Frappuccino, following the popular Unicorn Frappuccino.

Guess a unicorn isn't that rare of a creature.

Starbucks will debut a new twist on the trendy Unicorn Frappuccino in stores Thursday, according to a report from Business Insider.

Keeping with that fantastical theme, the coffee shop chain has dubbed it ... the Crystal Ball.

Technically, it's a creamy frozen treat that uses peach flavoring, whipped cream and crushed rock candy topping, the story says.

But let's not kid ourselves: It's not about what the Crystal Ball tastes like. It's about what it looks like.

That was certainly the case for the Unicorn Frappuccino, which made a bright, bold social media splash in 2017

The Crystal Ball, however, is a more soft-spoken sister of the Unicorn.

Instead of that in-your-face, pink-and-purple swirled Unicorn, Crystal Ball is mostly a soft white color, with few streaks of turquoise and topped with some vibrant, multicolored candy sprinkles.

It still isn't on the menu quite yet, but it's already getting all the feelings on social media.

Here's a taste:

COMING SOON TO A STARBUCKS NEAR YOU: the limited time #crystalballfrappuccino!!!! Are you feeling Adventurous (blue), lucky (green) or magical (purple)?!?! We will tell youuuuuuuu! March 22-25 #baristalife

Like the Unicorn Frappuccino, the Crystal Ball will only be available for a limited time.

Which is part of the whole appeal, too, right? #CrystalballFrappuccino will dominate our social media feeds for a few days. And then, poof. It will be gone.

And next year, we will probably see some new Starbucks twist on this 2018 trend. Maybe the next one will be called Wizard Hat that time or Flaming Sword. Prehaps Dragon Tooth?

The company has, again, getting us to talk about a drink that we can't even order yet.

Many of us don't even want to drink it, but we want to gripe about it.

We can all agree that's part of the Starbucks magic.

So, we don't need a crystal ball to know that this Starbucks frappe trend appears unflappable.
