Juvenile in custody after a Farragut house fire was quickly put out

The Knox County Sheriff's Office took a juvenile into custody who reportedly ran after a fire damaged a Farragut home Wednesday night. According to Knox County Rural Metro Fire, crews were called out to a house fire in Farragut at Midhurst Drive around 9:50 p.m. The fire was contained to a bedroom before it was quickly put out in about 8 minutes. The damage is believed to be minimal and no one was hurt, however Rural Metro said the family did lose a cat to the fire.
