Bassmaster Classic champ Ott DeFoe on the mend following heart surgery
In early 2019, Ott DeFoe won the Bassmaster Classic in Knoxville. Not long after that, he started having trouble breathing and thought it was bronchitis. He eventually found out that part of his heart was inflamed and underwent surgery. He's in his early 30's. Throughout it all, Ott says he had strong faith and a calmness.
