NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Nashville crews responded after a body was found floating down the Cumberland River Sunday afternoon, according to a report from WSMV.

The body was found at around 1 p.m. in the 100 block of Cleeces Ferry Road. The Nashville Fire Department said the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency reported the body near Martin Luther King Bridge.

NFD said the body was wearing a maroon-colored shirt, however, this person did not fit the description of Riley Strain, the missing University of Missouri student. Strain's family confirmed it was not him, WSMV said

The body did not match that of missing 15-year-old Sebastian Rogers according to crews on the scene.

The Office of Emergency Management crews have launched a boat with a Metro Nashville Police Department officer on board to recover the body from the river.

This is a developing story and will be updated when more information is available.
