The licenses of two East Tennessee doctors have been suspended under accusations they had sex with their patients.
Wednesday, state officials suspended Larry E. Perry, MD. , who has addresses in both Oneida and Whitley City, KY. Perry is accused of sex acts with patients, exchanging prescriptions for sex and conduct that is detrimental to the health, safety and welfare of the public.
Perry can no longer practice medicine in Tennessee pending a hearing on November 9.
The suspension of Dr. Rodney Dunham of Athens, who is also accused of having sex with patients, has been reportedly upheld.
The Daily Post Athenian reports Dunham cannot appeal that decision until January.
