Knoxville couple killed in Roane Co. accident

A Knoxville couple was killed while driving through Roane County Saturday afternoon.

Two others were also injured in the crash that happened just after 2:00 p.m. on State Highway 58 near Highway 72 in Kingston.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol 47-year-old Keith Abblett and 42-year-old Nadiia Abblett were attempting to turn left into the Riverbend Market when their vehicle crossed the path of another car.  Both were killed.

The driver and passenger of the other car, 70-year-old Aileen Kennedy and 97-year-old James Kennedy, were injured in the crash.  Their conditions are unknown.
