It was a very fitting ending for Senior Day at Neyland Stadium. Senior defensive end Wes Brown had an interception return for a touchdown with three second left in the game, as Tennessee beat Vanderbilt 31-16.

It was Brown's first touchdown of his career, and a special moment for the Tennessee senior who struggled all season with pain in his knees that was so bad he could barely practice.

Jonathan Crompton finished the night completing 20-of-34, with 221 yards and two touchdowns. He threw one pick which broke his streak of pass attempts without an interception at 142, just one shy of tying Casey Clausen's school record.

With the win, Tennessee now improves to 6-5 on the season and becomes bowl eligible. The Vols finish out the season at Kentucky next Saturday at 7:00.
