A missing 25-year-old McCreary County, Kentucky man has been found safe.

The McCreary County Sheriff's Department issued a Golden Alert for Terry Dewayne Hammock early Monday morning.

He was last seen Sunday morning in Revelo, Kentucky. The McCreary County Sheriff says he and his aunt got into an argument of some kind, she said she was going to call law enforcement and he jumped out the back window. Authorities were concerned because he has a medical condition that could make him a danger to himself.

Search crews from several counties joined in the search for Hammock. The sheriff says one of those searchers found him between 3:00 and 3:30, in the woods about a mile and a half from his home.

Hammock was a little tired and hungry, but otherwise fine. He was taken to hospital for mental evaluation

Kentucky Golden Alerts are issued for missing adults 18 years of age or older who have medical conditions or mental disorders.
