K-Town Cloggers will compete in the Showdown of Champions at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium

"Thunder" is made up of girls ages 8 to 13 who will represent the Knoxville area at the competition

KNOXVILLE, Tenn — The Clogging Champions of America Showdown of Champions is coming to the Knoxville Civic Auditorium this Friday, January 17.

Knoxville's own K-Town Cloggers will be tapping their toes and heels at the event and the team is ready to go.

K-Town Clogging Company is a program that strives to teach the unique, fun, high energy art form of clogging using Traditional and Contemporary footwork and styles.

The company has qualified to compete in the The Clogging Champions of America Showdown of Champions. It will be at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium January 17 and 18.

"Thunder" is made up of nine girls ages 8 to 13 who will represent the Knoxville area at the competition. 

To qualify for the 2020 Showdown of Champions teams must have placed first through fifth 1st-5th place throughout the 2019 competition season.
