The Knox County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal fire that happened in the 4200 block of Edington at Beechmont Road in South Knox County.
KCSO responded with Rural Metro Fire Department around 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
When crews arrived, they found a camper trailer fully engulfed in flames.
One person did die in that fire. The person's name wasn't released.
According to KCSO, the victim was taken to the Knox County Regional Forensic Center for further examination.
Officials say the road will remain closed until 1 a.m. Monday.
