Blount Co. authorities find endangered missing 4-year-old safely in Knox County

The BCSO said 4-year-old Isaiah Vanover was found safe after disappeared Wednesday at the Extended State America in Knoxville.

UPDATE: The Blount County Sheriff's Office has found a missing 4-year-old boy safe who was believed to be in danger.

The Department of Children’s Services has been called and is responding along with Blount County Investigators.

According to the BCSO, Isaiah Lee Vanover disappeared on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at the Extended Stay America located on Langley Place in Knoxville.

The BCSO said he was believed to be with Cody Astro Ake and Haley Amanda Weathers and her three small children.

The BCSO said Ake and Weathers are known to frequent motels and hotels in the Knoxville and Blount County area. They believed the child may have been in danger, but said they have not issued an AMBER Alert as it requires law enforcement to confirm an abduction took place prior to issuing it. 

According to Knox County court records, Ake is scheduled to appear in court in July for a misdemeanor domestic assault charge that occurred on Jan. 3. Ake pleaded guilty in the past to unlawful possession of a weapon and theft.
