'Mini Butch Jones' hanging up the headset

The news that Butch Jones was out as UT football coach sent waves through the college football world. For one 12-year-old, the news hit him especially hard.

Take a quick look at 12-year-old Owen Forrester and you might just think you saw a young Butch Jones.

Forrester has the orange Nike shoes, the pressed khakis and a headset that looks exactly like the one Butch wears on the sideline. He's even got a similar haircut to the former UT head coach.

"My stepmom kind of thought that I looked like Butch Jones," Forrester said. "When I put on the costume, she was like 'oh my gosh, you really do look like Butch Jones.'"

It all started when Forrester dressed up as Butch two years ago for Halloween. He is a Butch fan through and through and was sad when he first heard the news that Jones had been let go on Sunday.

"I was kind of sad because I dressed up as him, you know," Forrester said. "I think he’s a good dude."

Now that the Butch Jones era is over at UT, Forrester says he is also hanging up his headset.

"I don't know what I'll be for Halloween next year," Forrester said. "But not Butch Jones."

Forrester doesn't know who will be the next coach, but he hopes it's someone who looks enough like him so that he can dress up like him and have a new Halloween costume.
