UPDATE (Monday, Feb. 26): A man was released from the University of Tennessee Medical Center with a minor injury after a shooting in East Knoxville over the weekend.
The Knoxville Police Department said the 32-year-old victim received a Band-Aid and was sent home from the hospital after he was grazed in the finger.
The shooting happened on the 300 block of Jamey Street late Saturday night. KPD said the investigation is ongoing.
