WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Both lanes of Interstate 75 have reopened after it was shut down Tuesday morning following a semi crash that resulted in a fuel spill.
The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. in the northbound lane near the 24 mile marker.
Kentucky State Police say the crash resulted in injuries but released few other details.
Transportation officials said lanes in both directions were closed from mile markers 15 to 25. Traffic had to be detoured around U.S. Highway 25 until the interstate could be reopened.
