COLLEGE PARK, Md. — UPDATE: Follow along with the Lady Vols First Round matchup against UCLA on the @WBIRSports Twitter page.

When you look at the tale of the tape for the Lady Vols' first NCAA tournament game against UCLA, you'll notice many similarities.

The Lady Vols average 74.4 points per game, the Bruins average 73.3. They both have a sophomore as their leading scorer. Evina Westbrook leads the Lady Vols with 15.2 points per game. Michaela Onyenwere leads the Bruins with 18.2 points per game.

Both teams allow approximately 68 points per game. They both average 14 assists and 8 steals as well.

"I think it's two very similar teams. They're athletic, they're physical, they're strong," said head coach Holly Warlick.

UCLA ranks third in the country in offensive rebounding, but Bruins head coach Cori Close knows those won't be easy against the Lady Vols.

"I think they're a little bit bigger than we are. They're very physical. We really respect their rebounding ability," she said. "We're going to have to really buck up and be physical, because we really admire their physical toughness."

Despite the similarities, Tennessee has the historical edge over the Bruins.

The Lady Vols have won 18 of their 19 previous games against UCLA. Tennessee is also 30-1 in the first round of the NCAA tournament and 6-0 under Holly Warlick.
