Knoxville has plenty of breweries...but only one winery.
Some good news could be ahead... Documents from the Metropolitan Planning Commission show a proposal to open a winery in the former music venue, The International, near downtown Knoxville.
"The Concourse" music venue beside the International will stay open. MPC met Thursday to decide whether to approve the use of the building for a craft winery.
10News reached out to the developers who proposed the plan but has not heard back.
