KNOXVILLE, Tenn. ā Yves Pons is not going anywhere.
The Vols forward will return to Rocky Top for his senior year, after withdrawing from the NBA Draft on Monday. He announced the decision with a simple tweet, saying "I'm back. GBO."
Pons had a monster junior season at Tennessee. Starting all 31 games, he recorded a program record-tying 73 blocks and earned the SEC Defensive Player of the Year award. He also averaged 10.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
