Bear spotted in Oliver Springs neighborhood

The bear was not aggressive and didn’t approach anyone.

OLIVER SPRINGS, Tenn. — A black bear was spotted in an Oliver Springs on Monday morning.

Dispatch said that they received two calls around 9 a.m. from the Norwood neighborhood. 

The bear was not aggressive and didn’t approach anyone. It was gone by the time officers responded within a couple of minutes, according to dispatch.
