Two women arrested in Pigeon Forge counterfeiting bust

Pigeon Forge PD said it started picking up on the counterfeits and began tracking their route.

Two Nashville women were arrested on Saturday, Dec. 15 in a counterfeiting bust, according to the Pigeon Forge Police Department.

Officials say one of the women is a juvenile and the other is Rashita Groomster.

Officers got a car description and tracked the women down at a Kroger on Wears Valley Road, according to officials

The women drove off in the car, and officers chased them on Wears Valley toward the Parkway, according to Pigeon Forge PD.

The women hit another car before getting out and running away, according to officials.

Pigeon Forge PD said no one was hurt in the crash and the suspects were caught. 

The women are currently being held at Sevier County Jail, according to officials.

Pigeon Forge PD said a man was with them, but he wanted on other charges.
