COCKE COUNTY, Tenn. — The Cocke County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a 14-month-old child that "revolved around a vehicle accident" on May 6."
The death came from the vehicle hitting the child, CCSO said.
The death occurred on private property at around 1:40 p.m., according to CCSO.
The death of the child is an ongoing investigation, the sheriff's office said it would not be releasing any names at this time.
"This is a very difficult situation and tragedy that has taken place and our prayers go out to the families involved and the first responders that were involved in the response," CCSO said.
