First responders are on scene of Peery's Mill boat ramp in Walland after a possible drowning, according to the Blount County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office said they were called out around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday.

The Blount County Fire Department found and pulled a male victim out of the water, performed CPR, and transported them to Blount County Memorial Hospital

Their condition is unknown, according to the Blount County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities said a dive team was searching for a second victim but it's not clear that there is a second victim at this time. A witness said they saw someone else in the water, according to Chief Deputy Jeff French.

Water levels are up and there is swift water coming from the dam so authorities said it's a very dangerous situation.
