The newest Knoxville brewery wants to serve its beer in the home of kings and queens.
Schulz Bräu Brewing Company, a craft brewery modeled modeled like a German castle, opened its doors Friday evening in downtown North Knoxville.
The brewery invited the Knoxville Polka Kings to the grand opening to provide live entertainment.
The castle-like venue features a number of in-house brewed beers, including authentic German lagers and hefeweizens. Patrons can enjoy their drinks inside the taproom or outside in the beer garden.
The brewery is located at 126 Bernard Ave. near the corner of Central Avenue and North Broadway.
