CAMPBELL COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said it was investigating after an inmate in the Campbell County Jail died Friday morning.
The TBI said Gary Wayne Burriss, 47, died in the jail. It also said agents were investigating his death at the request of District Attorney General Jared Effler.
