Dollywood organizing several hiring events across East Tennessee in search of new workers

On Saturdays from Jan. 27 through Feb. 17, people across East Tennessee will have a chance to apply for work at Dollywood.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Dollywood is searching for new workers to help run its theme parks and is organizing several hiring events across East Tennessee to find them.

On Saturdays from Jan. 27 through Feb. 17, people across East Tennessee will be able to visit a hiring event and discuss opportunities to work at the theme park. The first hiring event, originally scheduled for Jan. 20 at Sevier County High School, was postponed and will be rescheduled, according to Dollywood.

A list of the other events and their location is available below.

  • Saturday, Jan. 27 at Jefferson County High School (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.)
  • Saturday, Feb. 3 at Seymour Heights Christian Church (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.)
  • Saturday, Feb. 10 at Sevier County Junior High School (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.)
  • Saturday, Feb. 17 at The King Family Public Library (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.)

According to Dollywood's job posting, the theme park has hundreds of positions open. They include security officers, merchandisers, safety coordinators and hosts. Information about the wages for each role was not immediately available.

The open positions are available online. Dollywood also offers "Grow U" to employees, supporting employees who pursue higher education. Workers also can participate in profit sharing and 401(k) retirement programs, according to Dollywood, as well as paid time off programs.
