HAMBLEN COUNTY, Tenn. — The Morristown Hamblen Humane Society is now accepting applications for the 17 chihuahuas that were found in a storage unit in December.
In early January, the 17 chihuahuas were reportedly doing well nearly a month later. The humane society said it was helping to care for them and preparing them for adoption.
The Morristown Hamblen Humane Society said the chihuahuas will be at the shelter on Wednesday, Feb. 7 and Thursday, Feb. 8 during their normal business hours. You can get an application from their website or pick one up from the shelter. You can also ask them to email, mail or fax the application.
They said the application does not guarantee an adaption, according to the humane society.
Adult dogs are $125 and puppies six months and under are $200. This includes rabies, microchip and spay/neuter.
