HARLAN COUNTY, Ky. — Authorities in Kentucky are searching for a suspect after a burglary was reported in Harlan County at the home of a Vietnam veteran. According to a post on social media, the Kentucky State Police heard about the burglary on Jan. 3.
Troopers said the home is located off Spencer Road in the Clover Lick community, and also said the owner of the residence currently lives at a nursing home. According to the post, war medals were taken along with oxygen tanks, electric drills, a television and a cell phone.
KSP said anyone with information about the burglary should call Post 10 at 606-573-3131. They can also submit tips confidentially online.
