KFD responds to second house fire, no injuries reported

The American Red Cross will assist the residents with temporary placement.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knoxville fire crews responded to a second residential fire on Sunday night. 

The call came in around 9:50 p.m. from a home on Harmony Road, according to the Knoxville Fire Department.

When fire crews arrived, they found heavy flames coming from one side of the structure. While firefighters attacked the flames, additional manpower searched for possible victims, with none found, according to KFD.

Within the first twenty minutes the flames were under control. 

The American Red Cross will assist the residents with temporary placement. No injuries are reported and the cause is being investigated, according to KFD.
