Gatlinburg — LeConte Lodge announced they will be closing to all visitors Saturday at noon.
They will not be hosting any overnight guests and no day hiker services. Business wil resume to normal once GSMNP permits.
A post on the lodge's Facebook page mentioned the forecast will pose a significant threat for causing floods, landslides and downed trees. It went on to say the winds have been picking up over the last several hours.
