KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. — Rural Metro Fire responded to a reported roof collapse at the PSG warehouse on South National Drive on Wednesday.
When crews arrived, they found evacuations in progress with a partial collapse of the roof.
According to Rural Metro, a large water and gas line was damaged from the collapse, causing a "massive" gas leak inside the building.
The building has since been cleared and all personnel were accounted for.
Both gas and water from the facility were shut off by building maintenance and the Knoxville Utilities Board.
Damage was isolated to a specific area, not the entire facility. In the hazardous area, the facility was turned over to maintenance personnel.
Rural Metro said two workers were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
No other injuries have been reported.
