PFPD: 36 people arrested during Rod Run

The released report covers incidents from Thursday, April 18 at 7 a.m. to Sunday, April 21 at 4 p.m.

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. — Pigeon Forge's Rod Run event was held at the LeConte Events Center over the weekend and the Pigeon Forge Police Department has since released a statistical report.

The released report covers incidents from Thursday, April 18 at 7 a.m. to Sunday, April 21 at 4 p.m.

PFPD said officers responded to 1,151 calls for service. There were also 36 arrests made resulting in 48 charges. PFPD said officers gave 623 citations and 283 warnings. 

They also reported on 43 accidents. On Saturday, 10News reported one death that occurred during Rod Run Thursday night. Pigeon Forge Police said they are still investigating.

According to the report, PFPD officers responded as well as the Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Blount County Sheriff's Office.
