A team with Remote Area Medical left for Haiti Saturday to assist with recovery efforts in the wake of Hurricane Matthew.
The hurricane left the area devastated. More than 1,000 people have died as a result of the storm in Haiti alone.
A group of RAM volunteers also went to Haiti earlier this month. Another group left Saturday with a large plane full of medical supplies.
