LETCHER COUNTY, Ky. — UPDATE: The Kentucky State Police said a crash happened just before 1 p.m. on Highway 932 in the community of Flat Gap. When troopers arrived on the scene, they found that a school bus was involved in a crash with a tow truck.
Officials say there were 20 students on board and one driver. All 20 students were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, but no major injuries were reported.
The driver of the tow truck is also reported to have sustained minor injuries, and the road is still closed.
KSP say that the students were on the bus because they were dismissed at 1 p.m. because of high winds and inclement weather
