Sevier County school holds Book Character Parade

One retired teacher, who now works as a librarian at the school, was dressed as Ms. Frizzle from "The Magic School Bus."

SEYMOUR, Tennessee — Students at Seymour Community Christian School dressed as some of their favorite book characters and showed off their costumes for a parade on Thursday.

Some of the school's educators got in on the fun and were dressed as some beloved characters.

One retired teacher, who now works as a librarian at the school, was dressed as Ms. Frizzle from "The Magic School Bus." Because over her 4-decade-long career, she's been referred to as Ms. Frizzle.

She said she is blessed to be where she is.

"I never thought I would be a teacher, but that's where the Lord put me," Linda Williams said. "I am so thankful for the opportunity I've had to teach so many kids and get very close to their families."

This was the second year of this parade.
