HARRIMAN, Tenn. — Early Sunday morning, Harriman Police Department officers responded to reports of a woman who was struck by a train near Webster Road at Highway 27.
According to a release from the department, the woman was fatally wounded by a passing train.
Harriman Police said the investigation is ongoing and the victim will not be identified until her next of kin is contacted.
