Marquise Goodwin made a couple of stellar plays in San Francisco's 31-21 win over the New York Giants on Sunday. But most fans probably don't know he was playing with a very heavy heart.
Goodwin and his wife Morgan lost their baby boy due to complications that led to a premature birth just hours before kickoff at Levi's Stadium. The news first was reported by NBC Sports.

After catching an 83-yard touchdown pass and just before crossing the goal line, Goodwin blew a kiss to the sky. He knelt in the end zone and prayed, then was surrounded by teammates.
He left the stadium after the game to join his family.
